Make Connections

CARA COMMUNITY EVENTS

Our Community BBQ and the 2019 Garden Party were both a great success, it was lovely to see so many alumni students attending.

Cara social events are a good way to network and make connections for future milestones. As counsellors we encourage people to develop and maintain healthy relationships as the work can be very isolating. Counselling after all is about relationships!

Keep up to date with our social events on our Facebook page, grab a copy of a our Newsletter and keep checking the website.

Graduation Party

A FIRST FOR CARA STUDENTS

Thank you Bom-Bane’s cafe in Brighton for making us feel very welcome for the first ever Cara Graduation event.

Six class of 2017 Level 4 students: Rachael J, Rachael R, Maggie, Neil, Lorraine and Jackie, met with Tutor Ray for a fun evening with lots of catching up, laughter, reminiscing and sharing thoughts about starting out as qualified counsellors.

At the end of an enjoyable evening in this quirky restaurant, Bom-Bane’s owner Jane sang a personalised song about the students and tutors which was very apt and very funny.
