Cara Counselling Training Ltd (CCTL) Values

One of the values we hold at CCTL is the belief that CPD workshops should be accessible to our community, this is reflected in the prices we charge for workshops. As a result of this philosophy we need minimum numbers to make our workshops viable. All half-day courses need a minimum of 10 participants, whilst our full day courses require a minimum of 12-15 participants.

PAYMENT

All our bookings are made through Musthave tickets and payments are taken by Stripe-both charge the purchaser a small fee for their service. This fee has nothing to do with CCTL; in the event that a refund is requested and is in line with our cancellation and refund policy their fees will not be reimbursed to you. Your personal information, including your payment details, are protected and will remain confidential. We will not share your details with any third party. Following your booking, you will receive an immediate confirmation of your purchase.

YOUR CONTACT DETAILS

Course booking confirmation and other pre-course information is sent via email. Please ensure we have your current email address for this purpose.

CPD CERTIFICATES

CPD certificates are provided at the end of each course to all participants who have completed the training. Please note that we charge £5 plus postage to re-issue lost or uncollected certificates.

OUR CANCELLATION POLICY

Courses that are cancelled by you more than 21 days in advance are refundable less an administration fee of £15. Courses cancelled less than 21 days in advance are not refundable in any circumstances. If you cannot attend a course you may transfer your place to another person if you provide us the name of that person at least 48 hours before a scheduled training event. No changes may be made to course bookings less than 48 hours before a training event.

WHEN YOU CAN’T ATTEND A BOOKED COURSE

We will not provide course materials (including handouts, PowerPoint presentations and reading lists) to those who have booked but have not physically attended a course.

COURSE CANCELLATIONS

Circumstances sometimes mean that we need to cancel a training event. Should we need to cancel a course, your course fee will be refunded in full (less the administrative cost of Musthavetickets and Stripe) or you will have the option of applying it to another CPD workshop held at Cara. Please note that we are not liable for any accommodation, travel or other expenses incurred by you in regard to a cancelled course.

YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY & SECURITY

Please take care of your personal belongings and your personal safety while at our training events. We are not responsible for items that are lost or stolen during our courses and workshops. We are not responsible for any accident or personal injury that occurs during our training events.
